Bioshock Infinite now available on Linux!

I've read and seen some amazing results with this eON wrapper. I'm pretty impressed and plan to download Infinite myself to check it out. From what I have read on AppDB, Infinite is a Direct X 10 only game. So it doesn't run in Wine, but if it can run in eON, then it should run in Wine some day.

MajorLunaC - I'm trying to play DeadFrontier.com and I followed my own guide here on downgrading to Unity web player 4, but Firefox is still showing Unity 5 in the Plugins area.

    Alien vs. Predator 2

I remember playing the GOG version, but I couldn't install it the regular way because it automatically installs Galaxy which prevents me from playing it in PlayOnLinux. So I installed and then moved the Alient-Vs-Predator game folder to its own virtual drive and it ran fine.

Flash and Unity Browser Games Guide

some of those games were features on the Unity 3D website. They had a gallery of web-based games and demos. I'm having a hard time playing the demos: http://unity3d.com/showcase Scroll down and check them out... By the way, I tried Firefox 31 and still had problems loading pages.

    Unreal Tournament 2004 Guide

I thought you got it working without any packages? Yes, I have a feeling those packages had to download for Ubuntu 14 since you didn't have any previous games installed. Still not sure why it came out to 700 MB? I could mess around with that UT2004 Linux binary. Sometimes they can be...

    Unreal Tournament 2004 Guide

Yeah, that is pretty strange... Did you select the packages mentioned in this guide specifically? I've never seen anything more than 300 MB download in the past. Most of the time its pretty transparent because I already have the packages downloaded for most game requirements. When I used to...

Getting Help Setting-up with Final Fantasy XIV ARR (Steam Edition)

I agree, its better to choose a stable distribution that is widely used, this way you can look up tutorials and tips for that Distribution. Ubuntu is one of the most used Distros and if you want something more "Windows-ish" try Mint. Mint is based off Ubuntu but the Cinnamon desktop environment...

    Unreal Tournament 2004 Guide

Sadly I was too busy playing Battlefield 1942 those days. Never quite "got into" Unreal Tournament until Unreal Tournament 3. Today I still play 3 in my LAN Parties and a bunch of Mods. Hence my PlayOnLinux guide for UT3 and Mods

    Unreal Tournament 2004 Guide

Unreal Tournament 2004 is the sixth installment of the Unreal series. Strictly a multi-player game, but includes vehicular warfare and state-of-the-art graphical engine with advanced lighting, high quality textures and ragdoll physics. Many games were created with Unreal Engine 2.5 such as...

I've heard a lot of good things about the GeForce 750 Ti Some version's don't even require extra power. My 550 Ti is getting kinda old, but still plays most games on high settings.

    Battlefield 2 & Patches Guide

IT would be nice if they could archive the "bad reports" because some of them still apply. I prefer a forum format like this so people can research what we did to fix something. In AppDB old comments get deleted and no one can research the steps taken in order to get a game to work. I've had...
