    That is a really good idea. A dedicated network computer just for backing up. Should work great. So the backup would access all of your local machines and copy the files over the network?

    Maybe the article should be named: 11 distros for 2015 Sounds like Arch is your favorite! I'm sticking with Mint, mostly because I haven't spend the time exposing myself to the others. One day I will have to decide what I want to use for gaming on all of my 6 Desktops.

    There is a lot of good information here: AppDB Do you know if the launcher uses QT5? I've experienced many problems with Graphical Interfaces updating to QT5 and using Wine. There is a patch for qnetwork.dll if it is using QT5 This might improve downloading large patches

    I forgot you are on Mint 16, those Ubuntu installers will only work on Mint 17. It might be time to upgrade... I wonder if you upgrade to Mint 17 if the Intel drivers will install automatically?
