    200 Games Tested in Linux

No problem! We love testing our games in Wine with hopes to run all PC games. We always need more testers...

Good point! I would recommend Linux to someone, but I wouldn't tell them to use Linux because its "better" than Windows. Its my preference to use Linux, even if some tasks are harder or require more steps. I think the Internet has bred generations of people who say whatever they want online...

You both have great attitudes. I'm very happy to have you on board with GamersOnLinux Sometimes I hope we don't get too big. I prefer a small community too. I don't mind dealing with trolls and arrogant members, I'll treat them the same as everyone else. But its so much easier helping people...

There is so much information in this world we have access too, but there is no way to know all of it. We tend to think we know a lot about a subject because we read about it on the internet, obviously that doesn't make us experts. I know nothing about the medical field, justice field...

Exactly, I'm in full agreement. I really shouldn't worry about unintentionally helping Microsoft because they are sinking-their-own-ship slowly. I'm just going to focus on Linux, making games run and showing the world how to do it. As MrDeathJr has pointed out, there are easily a few thousands...

We're still pretty new... :p GamersOnLinux is really about helping the community. Without forums, Linux would be really hard to learn. The last thing I want to do it "turn off" a potential Linux gamer with arrogance, flame & blame. I even had a conversation with someone on reddit about using...

    200 Games Tested in Linux

Thanks, I try to keep track of all the games we have tested here at GamersOnLinux.com and include a few links to help others. If you think about it, Steam has 900 Linux games and here is another 200+ games that run on Linux in PlayOnLinux (Wine). So thats already over 1000 games in Linux...

[Guide] Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on GNU/Linux

Looks pretty cool, thanks for doing a post on another MMO I've done a few and found that they break once-in-a-while with updates. Wine seems to handle them well. Nice screenshots by-the-way Why is there so many buttons and text on the screen? It looks a bit confusing

Is this an online MMO? I thought all Final Fantasy games were turn-based, but this one seems like an action RPG.

Fine by me. Your Wine guide wasn't so hard to follow. I would love to see more screenshots, but its mostly Terminal stuff right?

[Guide] Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on GNU/Linux

Interesting the only IE8 provides libraries for something like a game. I would think windows its-self would provide these libraries.
