I'm so use to being left out by manufactures that I never even checked to see if my OCZ SSD drive has utilities for Linux. They do! For Mint 17 and above! And they be sweet! It does everything from Trim to set-up tuning! Given my own experience, I recommend SSD users check with their manufactures.
