Did I give everyone the day off?

True. And Daerandin lives in one of the lands that parts of are north of the Arctic Circle. That's pretty darn North! Summer Solstice is tomorrow, it's celebrated by the Finns. Don't know if Norwegians mark the date meaningfully too.

Norway gets warm during the summer. Which is quite welcome! Take the summer off, why not?

Very basic Intel processors security problem

I may be wrong, but this added "snoop-ability" of Intel procs demands that my next machine be powered by AMD. I sincerely hope that AMD doesn't leave extra back doors into their processors' most basic levels.

Did I give everyone the day off?

A large Thank You to Daerandin, please forgive my lack of proper credit! It gets mighty hot in Arizona in the Summer, a break is well deserved!

You most certainly deserve a break, 300 game guides is a huge amount of work. Well done good sir!

To awake upon the morrow...If that's not Shakespear, it must be me!

That's good! Chinook Pass Road or Highway or whatever sounds like it should be in Alaska. Prolly just my warped take.

I didn't know that it was only a tax haven for only those beloved corporations. Sigh. Starting a revolution is a nice dream, but for me I don't have the gumption. Or the courage, tbh. We are so well surveilled that dreaming is about all I can pull off. And I usually have bad to terrible dreams, ugh.

Five thousand quid was a LOT of money in the Sixties. I lived in Britain in the late sixties, a pound bought a LOT. Can't remember ever having a Fiver in my wallet, one pound notes were good enough.

True, but it's pretty easy to feel worthless if you have nothing to accomplish. I'm slowly falling apart, physically speaking, brain seems to be still good--but maybe I'm kidding myself?

You mean you are actually South of Mt Tahoma? It looks like an extremely nice place to live, one river looks like it will never flood. The other one, which you are nearer to, looks like it could get delusions of grandeur. I sincerely hope not! Ah so, you are North of Mt Rainier. Whew, I thought...

I understand that the Channel Isles are tax havens and that actually living there costs a LOT. Come to think of it do you know how housing where you are compares to nice sections of London? I have no idea, but I know that London is very expensive. As well as New York and San Fransicle.

To awake upon the morrow...If that's not Shakespear, it must be me!

I had a wonderful Nurse Practitioner way back when. She loved ducks, I felt I should follow through and become duck lover. Maybe there will be duck activity on your nearby river? But if the water is swift and the channel is narrow maybe Torrent Ducks could handle it. But they live in South...
