    Yes, the Wine files are in a different directory, not in the wineprefix. So you could try it and if it doesn't work, just move the wineprefix back to the .PlayOnLinux directory

    that IS strange. I had similar problems but not the crashing. If I tried any other version of wine, the game would stutter really bad when enemies were in the screen. What distro are you using? Can you play any other games in Linux?

    Tower of Guns and Signal Ops both have native Linux version in Steam as well, but not on GOG There must be some political or monetary reason why these games aren't on GOG It doesn't make any sense to me. If GOG is pushing Linux why aren't these games available on their site with Linux...
