It runs the same outside of the virtual desktop. I managed to get it maximized without putting it in fullscreen. But changing video settings still causes a crash, oddly enough. ----- Oh, missed your second post. I'd rather not go fiddling with .ini files, and now that I know the game runs fine...

Okay, I got the game 'working' to some extent, after following the STO guide to the letter. BUT, I am having some serious issues after the game starts. Trying to change the settings cause the game to crash, which means I have to play the game in a low-resolution window.

Link doesn't work for me. I managed to install it through Steam and make a new virtual drive for it. I got it running for a few seconds before it crashed and died on me.
