Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

When installing wmp10 in 64-bit it says that it requires WMP 7.0 or newer version installed. However, if I run the wmp9 installer, it says that it's not aviable for 64-bit and throws fatal error...

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I tried it and the problem was that I couldn't install the wmp10 and also the windowsmedia thrown some sort of error(even though I was installing the 64-bit version). Imma give it a shot again, though.

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I have already done all of it. I installed those 4 libraries and I always installed the windowsmedia(it's essential in order to get further than CAPCOM screen).

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I tired 2 versions. With MAXAGENT version I was able to play a bit with Chris, but with the second one it's unplayable and always crash after cutscenes. Pirated versions are not up to date patched versions so there're some minor bugs(minor on Windows) that pops up heavily on Linux. I've read...

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I don't have Windows. But basing on the commentary there where I downloaded it, nobody seems to have issues(except few guys whose computer specs aren't enaugh for that game).

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I wish I had DVD ROM disc. At least it would be totally legal totally everywhere(unless I write my download on it)... Nah, it's bad here... At least I have 1 legal copy of Resident Evil series games(RE5) on Steam, but that one isn't working anyways. I managed, however, to get Resident Evil...

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

Hi! I can have some gameplay with Chris(not with Jill though), but once Chris got in the hall for the gun, the game crashed. Boom! I think that it's the gun's fault:D If the cutscenes doesn't work, than game stucks once it's supposed to play one. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/942423 -...

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I can see cutscenes, they seem to work fine. I don't know how to disable them, I only know how to skip them. The problem occurs 95% when cutscenes end and goes to the gameplay.

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I meant - do I need to post 15 posts for the moderation to go off aswell?:) http://www.pasteall.org/71403 - this is the log. I ran it, started new game, selected very easy mode and Jill character. It crahsed once cutscene ended. I noticed that at this specific installation it mostly crashes...

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I'll try launching "Debug" later, that's for sure. The installer didn't finish, I left it stuck for ~2 hours. Propably the game doesn't work in 32-bit. However, I can't get mediaplayer in 64-bit(the x64 version installer throws an error when trying to install). OK! It's good to find out that...

Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster Flickering Numbers

Hello! I ran Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster using Play On Linux, Wine 1.9.3-staging, installed d3dx_compiler43, d3dx9, wmp10, wmp9, xact and windows media player installer(cutscene fix). Game works very good, the framerate is stable, all works smooth, but it has one problem. The numbers in the...

    Installing Resident Evil 5!

I just came here to look at some things that I had done here. And wow! My English has been so horrible:D So I've got a new laptop now(see my specs). I installed Steam in POL, set the Wine to 1.9.3-staging. Installed d3d_compiler43, d3dx9, wmp10, wmp9, dotnet 20, dotnet 40, xact. I installed RE5...

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

I wish I knew where to get GC version. It might run via Dolphin emulator as it's most likely the same on Windows and Linux.

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

There is no crash report. It just pops a microscopic window with text "ERRO8: Memory overrun" or if there is one, than I don't know where it is stored. I tried 64-bit already and it didn't run at all. Without videos playing it just stucks after CAPCOM logo. It crashes at different cases, but...

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

Hey! I tested out with the doublebuffer and it didn't change anything. It still says 'Memory overrun'. https://steamcommunity.com/app/304240/discussions/0/620703493328065113/ I found this, but it gives no solution. I don't Alt + TAB(I'm even not in Steam while testing it as I don't want to waste...

Resident Evil HD Remaster "Memory Overrun"

Hi, booman! I'll try the doublebuffer. About 64-bit - game needs to install one program(provided by microsoft), media player patch or something. It's so that it could run wmv videos(which game uses). If the video doesn't run, than the game stucks with balck screen. So only 32-bit can be used.
