2 things about qt5, 1. Wine says the Origin download problem is solved as I stated ubove and provided a link to the bug. 2. I tried wine 1.7.35 and Origin can download just fine.

Yes but the point is QT5 is fixed now which means Origin can download. The ea proxy thing isn’t really an error. It just doesn’t die when its done. In Ubuntu just type [CRTL]+[ALT]+[ESCAPE] to bring up the task list and see if it is still active. When it stops showing a %, then you can kill it...

Origin works good with wine 1.7.35, so I think qt5 has been solved.

It uses a procedural generator to generate standard buildings and roads. There a probably just a few iconic buildings around most airports. Some people that live in an area make CC that you can download for free. Too bad they haven't add the Steam Workshop support yet. It would make adding mods...

There may be something weird about the file that makes it take longer. Maybe the compression requires more bandwidth than normal. Is your Steam client or ISP throttling you?

I think it uses file compression to download fast and then take a while when you launch it due to decompressing.
