It may be time for me to let go of PlayOnLinux.
We all know it has been deprecated for years now. The only updates I have noticed recently are:
Wine versions
DXVK versions
But I've been noticing some issues with the GUI (Graphical User Interface) and slowness with creating virtual drives...

Its not so bad once Paypal is setup with your new savings account.
I've had to do it twice and kinda got it down.
This way if someone hacks my PayPal account they only get whats in the savings account, which isn't much.
I wish it was that simple, but Paypal will explain how to sync the accounts.
From memory:
Create additional savings account
Login to Paypal
Click "More" under "Request"
Click "Add card or bank"
Click "Link a bank account"
Select Bank
If not listed "Enter bank details"
Check "Savings"
Enter...
I setup a 2nd savings account and synced it with Paypal.
This way all I have to do is make sure the money is in the account and then purchase with PayPal.
Works really well for me!
Nice! I love Borderlands 2!
One of the coolest games ever made!
I played through it with both of my daughters and it was a lot of fun. Such a long game!
I watched a few episodes of Fallout and while it was well made I didn't really like the story or the dialog. So I never finished it.
Shoot, after applying to 200 jobs in the last year and a half, i've got nothing but doubt and selling myself short.
There must be hundreds of thousands of techs applying for Work-at-home jobs cause I just can't get one.
Of course on the East Coast.

I have so many computers, a fresh install is necessary on at least one of them every year or two. Depends on how much it is used.
Ever since I moved, I have two desktops just sitting and rotting. But those will go to Goodwill once I build new desktops.
Can't wait!
Wow! Talk about patience!
Who has that kind of patience to leave a camera for 100 days taking a pic every minute?
No way! Not to mention making sure its always plugged in and copying data from the memory card.
That is dedication!
I did an update. Haven't fresh installed for about a year now... but its coming. Once we buy a house here in Virginia I will replacing all of these old gaming PCs. It's about time!

I think you are more of a distro master than I am. But I'm also like you, pick one and stick with it. Your benefit is using Arch which gives you a lot more exposure to behind-the-scenes functionality of the operating system. For me, I've stuck with Mint cause its more "Windows" like than...
Daerandin you are the distro master! I know you will research test and find the right distro for your needs.
I admit, I'm still a "windows-ish" user when I use Linux. Still using the same keyboard shortcuts and right-click menus. But I will always love the freedom to try another desktop...
