Looks like the best software to record how to install a PlayOnLinux game. I'll do some tests and see how it works. The cool thing is that it records audio from the game too.
So later I can record the narration with a mic and there will still be game audio.

I'm doing a test Drakensang video right now.
Recordmydesktop automatically saves videos as .ogv which is an open source ogg video container.
From there I have to figure out how to make it an mp4 or avi

Question: If the video guide works, where do I upload them?
Should we have our own youtube account?
    Does Xenforo support video uploading?

    It worked!
I have a 300 MB video of me launching Drakensang and playing for a few minutes.
I'll upload to my youtube.com account and then link to the forum

Here is my test video. You can't see the desktop but I did launch it from PlayOnLinux.
I'll do some more tests with manual installations in PlayOnLinux.
