Thanks for the good thoughts, men. 61 years seems much longer than it actually is.
I've been alone with the kids for the past few days while Mrs TR is in Laos for a family funeral. It's been nice, spending a little extra time with the young ones. I'm expecting her back sometime late this week.
No other breaking news, just life as we know it...

Keep your eyes open at all times TR.
The next 10 years are barely a whistle stop.
your kids will be disappearing into adulthood!
Your kids a will be right up next to having kids of their own!
10 years will be 1/7 of your life. It will be almost half or theirs.
They will be in a hurry to gain maturity and pass on all that you help them to attain.
You will defy physics and endeavor to slow those preciousness years.
yet still they come a run away train on track and headed straight though the middle of all you love.
Take heart as we wane the world is theirs to gain.
In the end we must all find the grace to let it slip lovingly into their trusting hands.
at the end of a long life well spent we recover the innocence with which we arrived.
for innocence is the end sought and attained by the superior man.
If we can let these years fly by in the fullness of time
we will be given wings time cannot blemish
and spread them against a
perfect and welcoming sky.
to sore beyond the years we were given
into a love that washes over
and away
time
beneath her muddy face
we will see eternity
smiling to once again set us free.
Or we just get old and die.

I knew I was getting to be old after eighteen year old women and thirty five year old women started to look the same. Careful, it might happen to you, when you are older of course.
Yep! everyone under 35 looks like a baby to me.
