Follow my step-by-step guide on installing, configuring and optimizing Jet Set Radio in Linux with PlayOnLinux.
Note: This guide applies to the Steam version of Jet Set Radio. Other versions may require additional steps.
Tips & Specs:
Try SteamPlay before using this guide as Valve now uses a fork of Wine called Proton and should run most Windows games.

Conclusion:
Jet Set Radio crashed every time I launched it from Steam because it was automatically launching the setup.exe which didn't work. Something to do with Dotnet 35. I was unable to get the setup to run at all. But Jet Set Radio launches on its own just fine, as long as Steam is already running. Have fun playing with the keyboard or a controller.
To play in full-screen, just disable the Wine virtual desktop
