Silent Hill Alchemilla Mod in Linux

Silent Hill Alchemilla is an original story presented as a Half-Life 2 mod. Explore a creepy sanitarium in reality and in the upside-down reality. Solve puzzles and explore this maze-like hospital, but you are not alone!

In order to play Half-Life 2 mods in Linux a few things need to be downloaded and prepped.
Thankfully the White Noise team provided a Linux installer for us...
But this installer only extracts the mod folder into your Steam Sourcemods directory.

Make sure it places the mod folder in your:
/home/username/.steam/steam/steamapps/sourcemods/
Be sure to enabled "Tools" in Steam and download:
Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer
Restart Steam and the game should appear in your library
Click Play
Be sure to wait a minute because mods will not show the "Cancel..." status on the Play button. So it might look like the game isn't playing, but it will start.

It is a good idea to just install all the Source SDK's available just in case you try some other mods in the future:
- Source SDK
- Source SDK Base 2007
- Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer
