    Certainly worth a look! I was hoping for a bit more from Steam on this, given all the run up to it...But one never knows how hard they may be cranking on this behind the scenes. Better games may await us! ":O}

    Jack Claw
    Cogs
    Steel Storm
    Hammerfight
    Machinarium
    Osmos

    I haven't had time to visit their Linux forums...but I would imagine there's quite a bit of unrest?

    yes, people asking if they could have more games.
    I don't mind if there is limited games because I know the conversion will take time.
    But it would be nice if my "Already Linux compatible" games that have steam keys would be on the list.
    I bet it takes time to modify the games for launching and updating in steam.

    PlayOnLinux and Crossover seem to have a better handle on this. I'm beginning to wonder how steam IS going about this...the approach sure hasn't given us all that much. The "Big" launch game...I'm not going to play for free when you have to buy your way to success.

    I don't know?
    So true! I am having so much success that I don't need LinSteam yet...
    But I will continue to push for it because installing was soooooooo easy and painless!
    Sadly I don't think LinSteam will ever support our old PC Games, so I will probably always use two Steams

    Yeah, I think getting the games we want to run in Linux is going to be a bit of a patch work affair for some time to come. The good news is that our tools are evolving as fast as games are being released. What remains out of our reach today will be easy pickings tomorrow.":O}

    The list is growing too: 41 games listed on Steam store
    Here are a few:
    Serious Sam 3
    Trine 2
    Amnesia: The Dark Decent
    Steel Storm
    Team Fortress 2
    Red Orchestra

    There are some really good indie games that also run in Linux but are not on Steam yet.
