    Awesome! My stepfather would love this game. He's a huge history buff and loves planes. Specially historical warplanes.
    He used to fly a glider and do aerobatics. He won many tournaments.
    Now he flies in games for fun.

    I've never been a fan of flight sims... but I intent to give this one a try if I can get into the Beta...Freaking Awesome graphics!

    Is it really a "sim" or is it more arcade for the general public?
    Microsoft released "Flight" but I've read that it isn't quite a sim at all.

    I still have my Microsoft force feedback joystick. It has the old controller connection, but works great!
    I've used it in Battlefront 2 and works very nice for space fighting

    They killed it, by turning it into some kind of childish game. Fly round popping balloons and other such lameness.

    I did a quick search and there are some flight sims that work with google earth or google maps...
    Maybe you can fly around the world syncing up with google maps?

    Ah...Free flight sims? It would be a Blast to get several interested friends and Dive bomb places of interest around the world... I'd put Dick Cheeny house up for as vote! ":O}
