    Here is an example of the future of gaming!
    Epic Citadel is a browser based benchmark with beautiful graphics and detail.
    Walk around a stunning castle in First Person and take in all the eye candy while you stroll down streets, over a country-side and through a church.

    Epic Citadel

    The Unreal engine utilizes Java and HTML5 to communincate with your video card and I see a lot of possibilities with browser-based gaming.

    Obviously we will still need a good video card, but as tablets can render these amazing visuals it makes me believe one day my desktop will be obsolete.

    Note: Make sure to use Firefox in Linux because Chromium isn't supporting Unreal yet.

    Are you using a nightly branch of Firefox? If not, you're probably dropping a big chunk of your potential performance.
  6. Daniel~
    No I'm just using bog standard Mint 14 Firefox...But I just installed Mint 15 RC and as I'm a glutton for punishment, I'll run a Mint 15 Firefox test... How do I set-up and run a "nightly branch" ?

    We that's still not good , but my best so far!

    Well that just cost you a "Like" ":O}
  8. Daniel~
    Here's your big chance to be "Liked" again! DON"T Blow it!!

    How do I get this part:

    Mint 15 64 bit
    Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard
    Intel 2600K (Unlocked)
    16 gigs GBXM G.Skill Ripjaws 17000CL9Q
    Vertex 4 2.5 SATA III 256GB SSD hard drive
    EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 FTW

    Alongside this part:

    Though all men live in ignorance before Mystery
    They need not live in darkness.
    Justice is foundation and Mercy Eternal.
    DKE

    Rather than below it... space saving idea! ":O}

    There's probably a way to do it, but at the moment I don't know how. The 'signature' and 'system specs' fields in your profile are where the info is coming from, so I'd have to edit the system template to do it. Actually not a bad idea, just need to look into it.
  10. Daniel~
    I won't be disappointed if it takes you a year or two to get around to it. Tell me how and I will "Like" you.

    Liking people is a lot harder than I thought it would be.
  11. booman
    I want to be "liked" I want to be "liked"!!!

    It might be possible with HTML code tags and then using two DIVs
    Here is all the available code: BBC
  13. Gizmo
    Yeah, that's basically what I'd have to do, but as I say, I'll have to edit the templates to do it. We did essentially that on AOA, so it's not that I don't know how from a technical standpoint; it's that I don't know how with this software.
  14. booman
    Turn out the HTML tag just creates a window to hold your HTML code.
    Thats all
  15. Daniel~
    If you wait until I die of old age...it will just seem creepy...":O}
