    • Frequency

    • Filtering anisotropic
    • Triple buffer
    • VSync
    numen29.jpg

    Rule of thumb:
High settings = More detail, lower frame rates
Low settings = Less detail, higher frame rates

    Conclusion:
Numen ran really well on my GeForce 500 Ti without any performance issues. There are some graphical artifact (particle effects) when attacking an enemy. You can see them in the video.
I was not able to remove or fix these artifacts.

Very good classic and good guide as always, however in my case is needed have dinput8 as native for input works like as motogp 3 (this title needs same fix)

    :)

I didn't need dinput8 for Numen for some reason.
Did you have the same graphical artifacts when attacking enemies?
  3. mrdeathjr28
Maybe because use 1.7 releases but activate dinput8 fix is very simple only needs add rule in winecfg with dinput8.dll previously stored in binary game folder

Back to game yeah particle bug still remain in both wine tested, regular wine: WINEDEBUG=-all wine steam and
    gl177 extensions enabled: __GL_ExtensionStringVersion=17700 WINEDEBUG=-all wine steam

    :)

Ah, that must be why I didn't need it. I have spent over 8 hours in-game already and no mouse issues or keyboard issues.

I hope Wine will eventually work with all particle effects with all engines.
I wish there was a way to turn it off.
