Traveling holds extremely little fascination in my old age. When I was a kid flying was fun, that was long ago. Don't even want to go to the grocery store, our local groceria has shiny black floors. Who dreamt that up? Makes it as cheery as all get out.

How deep is your snow? This chill is definitely record breaking, it's never been so cold at night for so freakin' long. What's it been...three years now?

It would take an emergency beyond my ability to conjure to get me to fly commercial air.
The extreme indignity that passengers are required to endure boggles the mind...you pay for this abuse!??

This is our second winter here, last year far milder. No snow in a week then light sprinkles were steady starting in late afternoon and continuing all night, guess we gained about an inch.

Our ground cover seems to compact and shrink rather than melt. Still at least one foot of snow most places have 2 feet.

Temps around 30F in the day time dropping 10 degrees at night.

Snow has begun to fall in Ernest. Straight down a moving out of sprinkles rushing the earth and into
an emptying of the sky, a massive exodus of cotton flakes.

Snow is sure beautiful to see falling. But staying on the ground for far longer than it's welcome... Starting next Thursday the weather person says that below freezing nights are finished with. Why that's less than a week more of torture!
Unfortunately I don't know if your tacky white stuff will go away. I sure hope so!

    Melting snow revels the spring.
Summer drifts in upon the rain clouds.

    spring lingers on until summer
    Summer fades into fall.

Nature gifts us in each, her seasons all.

I imagine most people hereabouts look forward to summer most of the year. The second week of July is only moments away. If only.

a disclaimer. Much of what I'm posting in this thread is probably only of interest to me. My primary reason for posting these things here is that for some reason you tube won't let me view any video on the you tube site,
I must copy the url and post it here before I can even see if I'm interested. So apologizes for not saying the usual implied recommendation that goes along with a post is not in force here as far as my personal posts go.

    I do try to delete those of no interest even to me.":O}

All of these posts will keep me busy for a while. Need an RV on the original side? Holy parallelograms Vitali, how original can you get? The ultra luxury ones probably serve well to keep much of the riff raff at a distance. Ex gigantic mining dump truck? Need one that's also a boat? Can't leave your not mobile home without your helicopter?

Mama mia Batman, I didn't have a clue! Who knew that if you don't wish to put up with the encyclopedia of pitfalls and pita's involved, you will stay in hotels or, gasp, a tent. And living in an RV requires familiarity that boggles the mind. I didn't know how fortunate you were to find such a good place--the luck factor is extremely apparent. Well done Dan and Patti!!
