    Wicked wicked Pickett. Definitely not descriptive of Mr Pickett.

    Is it still a re-post If I'm hearing it as for the first time?

    Well, Dan, since you brought him into the mix...

    Yo-Yo and James have been good friends for a long time; they both live in the Berkshires and collaborate from time to time as well. It's not unusual for them to make special appearances in each other's shows, especially when in New England.

    I like this unusual interpretation of 'Here Comes the Sun', done in a different time signature from the original and with the cello accompaniment:

    It's a bit amazing that John Fogerty has aged so much, but we are aging right along with him. Was lucky and saw him with the rest of Creedence live a few times.

    Ray Charles has more talent than all the rest of these musicians put together. He was a god! I loved and will love Fats Domino forever!

    Thanks for finding these performances!

    I foolishly thought that this would be a rendition of Burt Bacharach's famous tune. Wrong again.

    Gee, never heard John Travolta's take on this song. Could live without it.

    When I first saw this this i though the dance a bust. But it has grown on me. I rather like the idea of an Arc angel
    Dancing in celebration of this worlds chain of fools.":O}

    If you haven't seen the movie the attraction might be difficult to explain. Here we meet Michel as he comes to breakfast. I have only very seldom enjoyed a movie more..

    I haven't seen whatever the movie you refer to is. Sorry. I love the song and had a private war inside my head over Aretha Franklin. To be honest I didn't grok Aretha at all when she started her recording career. She was far too real for this somewhat sheltered and peripatetic white boy.

    We grow up at our own pace, my process was a bit delayed. I grew up in a war zone. Sheesh, took a lot didn't it?

    Jean Stapleton gotta love her. What's the title of the movie, it might be worth seeking out. Thank you!
