Hey, I was the one that discovered that and you saw it. I guess you just don't remember... Setting the prefix to XP fixes the problem.

I'm pretty sure its not the mouse. I've used it with other games and it works great. Anyway I wouldn't want to swap my mouse just for this. I've only had problems with these 2 games. Maybe I need to check what they have in common.

Yes, I turned it down and it didn't really do much. Also this is an FPS game so it's very important. Tried installing the POL dinput didn't help. Maybe I need to delete the dinput8 one?

Thanks for the help. I've moved on and played other games ( I did finish the game after all) and I haven't been checking the thread). It's really cool there are people out there that enjoy playing on linux and know what they are doing.
