    Assassin's Creed Revelations Guide

When I started using Linux, I stuck with 32-bit. This was over a year and never had any real problems. When I finally went to 64-bit I rarely have problems with games in it as well. The only benefit I think I'm getting is the ability to use more memory when taking videos of my games.

    Assassin's Creed Revelations Guide

Yeah I know, you always use windowed mode. Sometimes I wonder if I should go back to 32-bit distribution? The reason I am using 64-bit is because the majority of gamers are using it as well. So I want my guides to be as close as possible to what everyone else uses.

    Steam Streaming Works

Last weekend I went ahead and tried some Steam Streaming from my Windows Vista machine to my Acer C710 Chromebook with ChrUbuntu (12.04). Both are on wired gigabit network switches to make sure I get the best bandwidth possible. All I had to do was login to my Steam account in Windows, then...

    Assassin's Creed Revelations Guide

My only problem with Revelations is the mouse sensitivity. I cranked it all the way down in game options, buts its still way too sensitive. Maybe its Openbox?

    origin game loader

Albert, did you post a link to your guide in the PlayOnLinux forums? There are a lot of people who would love to know how to get Origins working. I have been working on Kingdoms of Amalur and can't get it to launch. I will follow your guide to the "T" and see if that helps. I was able to...

    Sysadmin Comic Relief

That is funny! Posting the conference rooms as "full" all week in Outlook is not a good use of company time Using 4 company monitors on one computer to play games is not a good use of company property Replacing an employees desktop with a picture of their desktop and hiding their icons, is not...

The IRC channel is OPEN: #GamersOnLinux [irc.OFTC.net]

I'm having a hard time deciding to do the live chat. For one, I only have about an hour-n-1/2 every morning to test/play games and don't want to be distracted by chat rooms. Then when I'm at work, I can't install a chat client because I'm not supposed to since its not work related. If it was a...

    Online Games

Exactly, I only like a few MMO's but there are so many and a lot of them are free as well. One way to get gamers in Linux is to show them how to install and play some free games. Its a good experiment because they didn't have to waste any money and can demo Linux and some games to see if they...

    Developers Good & Bad

What I hate is the "entitled" attitude where people are all "high-n-mighty" about their service. I know they paid for service, but even professionals make mistakes. Be patient, they will get it fixed. I really believe patience is where things get done right: If you have to wait another 15...

    Revisiting PHP

Hey Mr coder! I'm sure it was still a learning experience because you got to see the current condition of PHP. If anything, it confirms that Python is more productive. That's all I have to offer as a amateur coder.
