    Tales Of Monkey Island Guide

I also did a guide for Back To The Future and it was a bit buggy. Slow and animation didn't look smooth. But now testing Monkey Island with success makes me want to test Back To The Future again.

Yeah, I'm curious what compatibility it has with expansion sound cards like Sound Blaster and external A/D devices. Some day I'm going to make a small recording studio and I have to consider all of this for multi-track recording.

    Diablo 3 Guide

My wife and I are using Wine 2.21-staging to play Diablo III We are still currently playing it without issue. I definitely tried Wine 3.0 vresion and got crash errors, so "staging" is required for now. Were you both able to manually install Visual C 2015 like in the guide? We also do not sign...

Its kinda funny actually... sometimes I want to play an older game and I'll just follow our own guide. Its better than trying to figure it out all over again.

Thats right, you are on Mint now. If you just follow our Unreal guide and use Wine 3.0 This should get it running for ya http://www.gamersonlinux.com/forum/threads/unreal-guide.1170/

That is so strange. What version of PlayOnLinux are you using? I seriously didn't have any issues, but of course I have the Anthology version. Now Unreal II refuses to run at all. But Unreal and Unreal Tournament run fine.

Thanks for the confirmation Gizmo. I'll stick with Fedora on my server. Sad that they can't get around to optimize it for desktop home use

Very nice! So that is what was happening? Sometimes I felt like I walked around a corner and was shot in the face before I could even react... And... it didn't help that it was the first time I've played Unreal Tournament in deathmatch online. Ha ha

Drakensang is amazing! But, of course, there is a recent patch with the mouse that makes it unplayable.

    Drakensang Online Guide

Thanks for posting Blake, last I heard there is still a mouse problem in Drakensang making it unplayable. So even if you get it installed, you can't even use the mouse. I probably need to test again with wine staging to see if anyone has fixed the mouse bug.

I followed our GOTY guide and it connected fine. I also have the Anthology version, so not sure if that makes a difference. When I clicked Multi-player I can see over 100 empty servers running.

    Diablo 3 Guide

Yeah, so true... I didn't even try that because I assumed it would cause issues. But it works in Drakensang though.

    Diablo 3 Guide

Awesome! In our case with Wine, you can just use Battle.net to download Diablo 3. After that you can make a shortcut to Diablo and login from there. If they ever decide to require Battle.net login to play Diablo, then we need to troubleshoot why we can't login. Until then, happy gaming!
