    Neverwinter Free MMO Guide

Welcome to GamersOnLinux Yes, I had the same problem. For some reason it was faster over time, but I have never been able to pin-point why it takes so long to load the game. I has never been 40 minutes for me, more like 15 minutes. So it may be related to internet speed or processing. Please...

    AppDB Comments Deleted?

Dude, I'm starting to think that they know my name and when they see "Booman" they delete the posts because they know I only use PlayOnLinux. Seriously... I wouldn't even be playing Games in Linux if it wasn't for wrappers like PlayOnLinux.

Exactly, Wine doesn't support Pulseaudio so this is very common depending on your hardware. But they do give a solution: http://wiki.winehq.org/WineAndPulseaudio

    Fallout 3 Guide

I was going to say that too! My Logitech controller worked fine in native games but not in Wine games. I havn't tried it in a while but maybe the newer versions of Wine have increased compatability? I'm testing Lego Indiana Jones 2 today, so I'll try my controller again. Let me know if your...

    Star Trek Online Guide

I forgot, this guide is a bit old. You don't need IE8 anymore. Follow my Neverwinter guide to installing Arc. Instead of downloading Neverwinter, just click on Star Trek. or Just change Wine versions to something newer like 1.7.16 I bet it will magically work.

    Fallout 3 Guide

Perfect! Runs as good as in Windows. Too bad there aren't any shadows... it would look even cooler. I looked up some shadow mods and there are a few, but don't know if it works in Wine or not??? Controllers is a whole other issue. I've messed with them before, but by now, they should be...

    Fallout 3 Guide

Awesome! I could run on maxed out settings as well. Even the water looks nice too. As for fullscreen, did you set the virtual desktop in Wine Configuration? Try setting it as 1920x1080 or even try turning it off. As long as the game resolution matches your Linux desktop, it should be fullscreen.

Cool, I totally understand recording compatibility. What do you record? I've actually recorded two albums myself and played all the instruments (Heavy Metal) about 12 years ago. I really miss it. I just read recently about a recording program for Linux, but can't seem to find the name. I have a...

[How to] Fix WINE underrun occurred problem

Now that I'm in Mint 16 64-bit, I have only seen the ALSA "buffer underrun" error. I was playing Crysis Warhead and the audio started getting crackly and fast. So I saved, closed it and ran Crysis again. After that everything has been fine. Strange huh? Even as I have tested a few games, I...

    Manjaro Install from USB Stick

So what Distro are you running on your main stystem? I have noticed that Mint and Ubuntu aren't always up-to-date either. If you install Wine or PlayOnLinux its always an older version. Even in Mint, Nvidia drivers are old.

Agreed, but I wish purchased digital games could be "gifted" and the license/key gifted as well. Maybe one day... Unfortunately I am finally on Mint 16 64-bit So I can't help you there. Honestly most people are using 64-bit anyways. I was one of the rare gamers using 32-bit only. So I have...
