Probably... Bethseda doesn't seem interested in Linux
Wolfenstein 2009 never got Linux Binaries, but Doom 3, Quake 4 and ETQuake Wars did.
Probably because all of those were id Software.
I'm even testing Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force and there are Linux binaries available.
Oh, the drivers must be your problem. Have you tried proprietary drivers?
I also recommend installing 32-bit libraries for games that are only 32-bit. That happens to be most of them.
I bet DOTA2 is 64-bit compatible... which is pretty cool.
Use your software manager and search for ia32-libs...
Thats strange. Can you play any other games?
Are you using 64-bit Mint 16?
When a game freezes like that try Ctrl+Alt+F2 and then use the shell to kill the game.
If the keyboard doesn't work, then the whole operating system is frozen.
Check out some of these tips for the shell: Beginner Tips...

Agreed! My Dad tried to get me involved in soccer, baseball and basketball.
But I ended up skateboarding playing drums for 20 years.... who knew?
Not to mention I went to college for an art degree and now I'm a full-time IT tech.
Who knew?
Yes, please let us know what you find.
I'll try it as well when I have time.
I would love to just launch Steam a single time and then any installed game when I want to play.
Linux Gamers will love this!
Nevermind, Allen was correct in his post. The time stamp allows each name to be unique, so it will create a new screenshot every time.
Works beautifully!
Tedious is fine because I just need a few decent screenshots for the guide.
This is the first time I've made a guide for a Native Linux game, so I might as well learn how to do it.
I made a bash script to do continuous screenshots and it works, but it keeps overwriting the original screenshot...
Agreed, but I have a feeling they really mean the "main story" is linear, but you still get the non-linear exploration and other quests.
A non-linear story sounds pretty interesting anyways. Complete the quest in whatever order you want.
Wow, those visuals are stunning!
Unbelievable... almost completely opposite of Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Total fantasy world...
Did you see how thick that vegetation was?
Those trees falling was awesome too!
I'm doing two native Linux guides for Quake 4 and Quake Wars but for some strange reason I can't do screenshots.
PrtScrn doesn't work because the game takes over the Cinnamon.
I can't even switch do another desktop or Ctrl+Alt+Tab
It seems I'm locked into the game.
There is a built-in F12...
I am not familiar with primus and bumblebee.
My Mint 16 (based on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucey) can run it just fine with Nvidia 319 drivers and Wine 1.7-LeagueOfLegends
Since you are using PlayOnLinux, we might need some more info on your configuration and how primus/bumblebee effects your hardware.
