    So, the audio decided to work all of the sudden. I don't know why. I think it may have something to do with the configuration, but I barely messed with it. All I changed was the emulated desktop option and the resolution size. However, thanks for all the help. I really appreciate it!

    With those downloads the game runs a lot better, thanks. Still have some movement issues but they are few and far between. Also, yes i use 14.04. One final issue is the sound. It doesn't output any kind of sound from the wine program.

    So I changed to proprietary drivers and that solved the problem. It starts up normally now. I just have one more question. Am I going to be able to play games in full screen?

    I having a similar issue. I'm using the newest version of Ubuntu. Everything works fine until i try to launch the game. It tells me there are serious issues with the Skyrimlauncher.exe and needs to close and that it can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in wine.
