    Well, after 35 minutes of fighting with debian I finally managed to install open source drivers, videocard sounds like it is going for the liftoff but does not matter. Good news are that I can play... somewhat. The screen is almost completely black, I can see hud and my above head healthbar...

    If you suggest problem is in proprietary drivers I will try using Open Source drivers, hope that helps. Will report after that :)

    Nope, tutorial yields the same result, I can see animation on map going smoothly for roughly 1-1.5 seconds, and then the game just freezes having the last possible image displayed and ignores any input, sound goes on like nothing happened.

    Tried with settings you have suggested, game now freezes even before stats from runes/masteries apply, now I just see myself, bot and huge Quest Received above my head, no gold/ingame stats/time. After I switch onto another Xwindow and switch back it is just a black screen with sound still going.
