    Hey man,

    My first response was wrong.

    NVENC will work for Windows XP as well.

    On Windows, there are three initialization options:

    1. DirectX9 (with resource sharing, Vista and up).
    2. DirectX 11 (with resource sharing, Windows 7 and up).
    3. CUDA (All platforms, including Linux).

    So yes, it will work in Windows XP.
