Sorry Dan, but Bob Seger has *never* recorded this song. Not even on his 'Night Moves' album, which I know practically by heart. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Moves_(album)
Nor is it on either of the two 'Greatest Hits' compilations by Bob Seger.

The video you posted is Dobie Gray singing his cover of the Mentor Williams song [1970-ish]. The song is called 'Drift Away'. It is misnamed as being by Bob Seger. This happens far too often on YouTube. I mean really, the poster does not even know the name of the song. [It's NOT 'Give me the beat boys']

You will notice that the poster himself actually concedes that it is Dobie Gray, and not Bob.
