Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

And now something completely awful...Why didn't I keep it to myself?
Because it's perfectly awful!!
I always thought they were black singers!
I should have known better!! LOL

Now don't quit this song in the middle...It gets much worse!! ":O}

I wasn't at all sure this was a song sung by Black women. You're right, it is far too lame to be!

This song is from one of the few movies I never pass on a chance to see again.
Each viewing passes as serenely as the Desert where the only things that can move are the things that must move for it to be a desert.

This song has haunted my dreams for decades now. They are always good dreams, dry and unencumbered by negative emotion.

Dang, I've never seen the flick. Wonder if it's on Netflix?

I've posted many things from the various "got talent" shows.
In truth I have held these show , without good cause, in rather low regard.

For some reason I felt they were being exploitative..

Here's why I was just so wrong.

BTW and for the heaven of it..

There's a truly remarkable doc series showing on NetFlix.
Title:
BABIES.

What we are learning about them will astonish you!

This song is a retelling of one of the most dramatic moments in the New Testament. God calls John The Baptist into his service.

It is also one hell of a fiddle tune

Want to hear it again?
Ok, but lets go for pictorial lyrics!

An old favorite

[Verse 1]
In the time of my confession, in the hour of my deepest need
When the pool of tears beneath my feet flood every newborn seed
There’s a dyin’ voice within me reaching out somewhere
Toiling in the danger and in the morals of despair

[Verse 2]
Don’t have the inclination to look back on any mistake
Like Cain, I now behold this chain of events that I must break
In the fury of the moment I can see the Master’s hand
In every leaf that trembles, in every grain of sand

[Verse 3]
Oh, the flowers of indulgence and the weeds of yesteryear
Like criminals, they have choked the breath of conscience and good cheer
The sun beat down upon the steps of time to light the way
To ease the pain of idleness and the memory of decay

[Verse 4]
I gaze into the doorway of temptation’s angry flame
And every time I pass that way I always hear my name
Then onward in my journey I come to understand
That every hair is numbered like every grain of sand

[Verse 5]
I have gone from rags to riches in the sorrow of the night
In the violence of a summer’s dream, in the chill of a wintry light
In the bitter dance of loneliness fading into space
In the broken mirror of innocence on each forgotten face

[Verse 6]
I hear the ancient footsteps like the motion of the sea
Sometimes I turn, there’s someone there, other times it’s only me

I am hanging in the balance of the reality of man
Like every sparrow falling, like every grain of sand

[Harmonica solo]

any way i look at this
This makes me happy:O}

Can we say Cardio at half past 70?

If you keep smoking that internet stuff like it was a fish and this could happen probably to you without you even looking!

After listening to that song I don't know how you would avoid tears. I read that watching the show in real life can be far different than watching the production on tv. Yet I think the talent shows are very entertaining all the same.

Thank you for including them in our music "power hour!"
