Incidentally, and in most comedic fashion, they were unaware that there was a 61-year-old black singer with multiple albums with the same name. This Lady A - whose real name is Anita White - has been playing the blues under this name for more than 20 years. Wonder what happens next on the PC horizon.

Yeah, so the Dixie Chicks are now 'The Chicks' [highly offensive to humans of the female persuasion], Lady Antebellum is now 'Lady A' [highly offensive to a certain blues singer, even though it only means 'before war'] and a rock band from California called Slaves has announced that it is changing its name [although the reference is to their past substance abuse problems, and is in no way related to anything that could possibly offend anybody] to:

well, we don't know yet, they can't think of a new name. I am sure we are all comforted that they are trying, though.

How unfortunate. Allow me to shed a tear for all the SJWs out there. Fine work.

I had and still have not a clue about Lady Antebellum, I've seen the name so I posted this video. She's not one of the greats. And plagiarizing the name of an established artist is a NO GO. I should have looked before I posted!
