I've followed the career of Yuja Wang for some years now, and seeing her live is on my bucket list. She lives in New York, and coincidentally with Rick touting her today on his YouTube page, a friend of mine just saw her at Carnegie Hall a few days ago, playing with the Philadelphia Orchestra. She played, believe it or not, ALL FOUR piano concertos by Rachmaninoff in one show. These concertos are notably difficult technically, and are considered by many to be benchmarks for pianists. My friend was absolutely blown away. I wish I could have been there.
I'm pretty sure I've posted this before, but it deserves a reboot. Tommy E and Mike Dawes, with a cover of Fields of Gold: Also this one is nice
Magic in the fingers magic in the strings magic the way guitars sing, Magic in all the music they bring
Guys, I've gone and done a bad thing, and now Daniel's going to be otherwise engaged for a few days, so don't panic if you don't see him.
