Haha, well you know Donald Fagen hired Michael McDonald to work in Steely Dan years ago doing background vocals and I guess they've been friends since. I don't know how those two crossed paths with Boz Scaggs to form this band though.

Seems they like doing each other's songs for our pleasure, so I'm happy with that!
