Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

We had a 4.6 earthquake late last night. The first reference to it online I saw said "3.0." I knew they were lyin' sacks of crap. I've never ever felt a 3.0. While I was swaying north to south I actually said "I don't want to die" out loud. What effrontery!
A completely honest and heart felt sentiment. We can shorten our lives...but to add a single minute lays infinitly beyound our reach.

But it never hurts to let the big guy know how you feel about it.":O}

Always the student, always the teacher, but that voice is a song he sings to us.

I'm sorry for your loss I feel you've found a wonderful way to keep her in remembrance.
Northwest Harvest fed Patti and I more than a few times. Where are you gonna find better people than those who have fed the poor?

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words. I make a point of donating $100 once a year to Northwest Harvest, wish this counted as this year's donation. Wait a sec, yay! It's my second donation this year. Wonderful that it helped some people I know!

This Sting tune is new to me.
I think we all are subject to complete foolishness at least once in our lives. Pray for those who are injured or worse at the hands of their fellow ignorant man.

And pray for enlightenment, we all may need it desperately at least once.

This is a new award to me, Mr Cohen was a master of words and song. We will always miss him.

Speaking of Spain, there's a movie on Netflix called "Money Heist" from that country. I highly recommend it, the ending is wonderfully surprising.

It would be great if tiny microphones incorporated a pop filter.

When I was hungry you fed me.
When I was cold you clothed me.
When I was homeless you gave me shelter.

George you have nothing to fear in this life or the next.

So many great song writers!
Every now and then one of them tells exactly who they are and why they are here.
I find this one exceptional in this regard. This Song tells us EVERYTHING we need to know about it's author

Coming soon to a graveyard near you!

Zombieland
T Bone Burnett
Accentuate the positive
Destroy all the negatives
Before the black mass media
Get a hold of them
Boy's been sniffing that frog powder
Drinking that genius juice
Shooting that monkey blood
We're gonna stomp in Zombieland
Devil beat in Zombieland
We're gonna stomp that devil beat
Down in Zombieland
Machines always do just what you tell them to do
As long as you do what they say
Machines gonna stomp
To that devil beat in Zombieland
Look at that boy can't see nothing
Can't hear nothing
Just put him over there
All the tides in Zombieland
Are to oblivion
Sniffing that frog powder
Blowing that Egyptian bone
Settling like a fog
Speaking hieroglyphics
With his pistol and his pills
Phantom conjured to a dark mojo
You want to know but you don't know
You want to know but you don't know

Born in captivity
Born in captivity
Born in captivity
We're all born in captivity
Born in captivity

They make you stand in line for the first grade
They make you kneel in hall to the air raid
They say the saucer's coming any day
To take you and all your friends away
But thirty times it never comes
And still the natives beat the drums
And we're born in captivity
We're all born in captivity
Yes, we're born in captivity
Cossack children of the bourgeoisie

And they burn their images in your brain
And tell you what is valuable
Till it all looks pretty much the same
And you are totally malleable
And it works like magic on everyone
'Cause the camera's mightier than the cannon

And we're born in captivity
We're all born in captivity
And we're born in captivity
Cossack children of the bourgeoisie
Awaiting our delivery
