OK good You won't need a lot of packages for Steam alone, but when installing games, you can search the game folder in SteamApps/Common for a folder called: redist Win32 Usually there will be installers or a script .vdf with names of packages/libraries you will need. Like DirectX 9, Visual C, etc.
