Help: My account got strictly limited

Hey guys,

I'm allenskd. After the changes ThunderRd did I sort of got "banned" from the site now I can't enter any sections of it:

Any help would be nice...
 
We are on it Allen.
Bob was trying to give you "trusted member" access
Apparently it didn't work
 
Try logging in as AllenSKD again and it should work.
I don't know if you can edit your posts or not... that seems to be a bug
 
I've given you custom permissions this time, rather than using the predefined template.

Let us know if it works now. I'll check back in the morning, it's 11 pm here.
 
Ok, this was completely my fault
I locked your thread before you had a chance to edit it.
Its unlocked now and you should be able to make changes.
Originally I thought you were unable to edit any of your own previous posts.

I can now edit the thread! Thanks! (and many other threads, this is really helpful is I keep writing generic guides) I still need to get over the PlayOnLinux help guide which doesn't change that much. Just a lot of screenshots :]

Brian, I'm not sure that 'staff announcements' is the best place for the 'help us help you' thread.

It should be in a place where users looking for support would readily see it, or it won't be heeded; maybe the WINE thread?

Another idea would be to place copies of Allen's post in every support forum (in addition to 'staff announcements', lock it and sticky it everywhere. The only problem with that is, if the post is edited by the author it has to be edited in multiple locations.

Unless there's a way to link to a single post from multiple locations?
 
I thought that I left it in Wine as well.
We really don't have an area for our FAQ, Process, etc
So I've been putting them in here
