That is awesome! The only thing is line-of-sight to the main satellite...
They also do not mention traffic load and sharing it with other sites. Like if someone is downloading Elder Scrolls Online (100GB) will this slow down your connection nearby?

Its quite amazing that people are looking for other sources for internet.
My Cox bill keep increasing every year...

My other question is... how do they connect to the World Wide Web?
I understand how the mesh works and how they connect to eachother, but you are supposed to set your DNS to 10.10.10.10
So how does that give you internet access through the mesh?

I don't know George...Trees are just such a gossipy bunch, Once uncorked they might never shut up again. A forest is suppose to be silent don't let a bunch of trees ruin that for me!!

Before you branch out into arboreal networking, consider carefully the following problems:
- logging must be carefully controlled
- you must be particularly careful with root access - always keep the root password secret
- firewalls tend to spread in dry weather, so you will need some other kind of access control or sentree

If you can overcome these problems, you'll have the green shoots of a whole new industree
