Earlier this year, I got the idea to fully play through the Might and Magic series, including Heroes of Might and Magic. It's been quite a few years since I did that, so I wanted to experience these amazing games all over again. By now I've made some decent progress. I'll post some screenshots later. I'm playing through the games in an order based on release, which is what makes the most sense to me. I have also decided to include a couple of unofficial entries. The game releases begin in 1986, and the final release was in 2003! I will specifically avoid anything done by Ubisoft after the took over the brand in 2004. Ubisoft decided to scrap the old world of these games and instead start over with their own world, something I never forgave them for. To those curious, the games I'll be going through, in order, are: Might and Magic Book One - The Secret of the Inner Sanctum Might and Magic II - Gates to Another World Might and Magic III - Isles of Terra Might and Magic IV - Clouds of Xeen Might and Magic V - Darkside of Xeen (MM4 and MM5 actually combine into one large game which can be played simultaneously) Swords of Xeen (unofficial fan-game that was included in official collection releases later) Heroes of Might and Magic - A Strategic Quest Heroes of Might and Magic II - The Succession Wars Heroes of Might and Magic II - The Price of Loyalty (the campaigns have no direct relation to any other MM storyline, but NWC specifically considered the expansion canon) Might and Magic VI - The Mandate of Heaven Heroes of Might and Magic III - The Restoration of Erathia *I am currently playing this* Might and Magic VIII - For Blood and Honor Heroes of Might and Magic III - Armageddon's Blade Might and Magic VIII - Day of the Destroyer Heroes of Might and Magic III - The Shadow of Death Heroes Chronicles Warlords of the Wasteland Conquest of the Underworld Masters of the Elements Clash of the Dragons The World Tree The Fiery Moon Revolt of the Beastmasters The Sword of Frost Heroes of Might and Magic IV Might and Magic IX Heroes of Might and Magic IV - The Gathering Storm Heroes of Might and Magic IV - Winds of War Legends of the Ancients (fan made mod to Heroes 5 that continues the NWC storyline)
