    I wanted to spend a version 17 but when I put the CD From mint 17 it bug the beginning
    so I wanted to take the opportunity to know what to choose for linux players (performence, less bugged ...)

    Playing CDs and DVDs on Linux can sometimes be a challenge, but I would think Mint 17 should be able to play anything that you are interested in.

    I personally use VLC as my media player; I find it to be a decent application with a User Interface that makes sense to me. However, I run on Fedora 20, so I also have to install a bunch of codecs (gstreamer-free, gstreamer-nonfree, etc), because of the Fedora policies on including non-free stuff. Mint is much more liberal in this regard, I believe.

    I would recommend VLC or SMplayer. It all depends on what kind of UI/options interface you prefer. VLC is my favourite.
