In Clear Sky you are a mercenary following the story of Strelok from Shadow of Chernobyl. Beginning in the swamps you will explore all of the original locations with even more beautiful graphics and special effects. Join Duty or Freedom and take out bandits... or don't join either and help Stalkers against mutants, zombies and more.
Graphics in the original vanilla game have been completely overhauled from the original game. Fast travel has been implemented in each map and now finding artifacts has to be earned. Enjoy similar weapons Shadow of Chernobyl and some new ones like the Gauss rifle. Can you stop Strelok from enabling the emission that will end our world?
Unfortunately there are some game breaking dialog bugs in the "Enhanced Edition" that would not allow me to progress from the farm in the beginning. After much research, this happens in Windows as well. So I was forced to play the GOG vanilla version of Clear Sky which ran beautifully! I was able to crank all the DirectX 10 graphics to high and enable all the "ground breaking" lighting effects too! This game is beautiful even without the "Enhanced Edition".
