    He's wrong, BTW. The average adult native speaker of English has a vocabulary of between 20 and 30,000 words. Young children know 3 - 5,000.

    I believe that an appreciation of music is the beginning of an appreciation of all the fine arts.Once one grasps what is attainable in all the arts., it becomes hard to stay away.

    This art on a very high level.

    The intro is a bit self serving, but short, what follows is revelation.



    What amazes me, but perhaps it should not is this:

    Both China and Japan achieved a Golden Age. Their spiritual understanding is unsurpassed and utterly refined.

    While their social and political life remained a bloody mess of greed and averse.Near contentious wars and insurrections.

    Even worse,He equates the number of words with simple vocabulary.

    While vocabulary is every bit as much about dexterity in the use of words,

    We will rarely find fault with one who posses but a few words, if they employ those words with great senstivity

    and insight.

    Which is what our story teller is for the most part doing..":O}
