    Whaddaya know, my Jazz Bass looks exactly the same. Edit: But I never ripped the frets off of mine. I bought a Korean fretless instead. If only simply owning something identical made you play just as well.

    Yeah, well Jaco set a pretty high bar. I was introduced to him when he played with Pat Metheny, just like Rick. It also introduced me to Pat Metheny as well, became a lifelong fan. My favorite Metheny album: "As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls". Unfortunately, Jaco wasn't on that album, but give it a listen anyhow.
