Bonnie Raitt - Thing Called Love With a tip o' the hat to Susie Madrak of https://www.susiemadrak.com
Most excellent post, go WBGH Boston! Thanks Dan! Johnny Otis had a weekly radio show in LA that I enjoyed immensely. Lieber & Stoller - all hat's off! Dick Dale was a southpaw. Who Knew?
By now I guess everyone knows of my affinity for Documentary, especially historic. I thought this one to be rather fine, it strives to create a lens though which to view 1900. at times utilizing a series of facts that while commonly available still startle. An example: in 1900 there were less than 5000 cars and under 10 miles of paved road... in the entire country! For most people the nearest railroad was 200 miles away. There were no vaccines, no telephone, no radio, no electronics of any kind. The facts amaze and seem to be without end. Just want to thank my grand parents..for everything!
