Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

I can't believe this song has returned to me! I'm certain that If I lived a hundred years I would never have thought of it, and now here it is again!

I have always rather liked Louden, but this is the song I was looking for.

I certainly remember this one, thanks Dan. The pic you cite is a bit strange, where does the woman end and the leaves begin? I hope she isn't becoming compost!

Alas, we are all destined to become compost. I have spoken to my body about this, that one fine day I will get up and leave my body behind. My body and I don't know where I'll be going or if going will still be had.

But we both comfortable with becoming compost, After all we were born of compost, lived in and by compost.
We owe everything to compost and must there fore be happy to serve as compost.":O}

Shazam! This James Carr sure knew how to genuinely sing rhythm and blues! With the accent on BLUES. Thank you very much for introducing him! I was ignorant of this fine artist.
"There's a light
a certain kind of light
That's never going to shine on me."

Where are you going to find a more naked unveiling of a human heart?

We had a 4.6 earthquake late last night. The first reference to it online I saw said "3.0." I knew they were lyin' sacks of crap. I've never ever felt a 3.0. While I was swaying north to south I actually said "I don't want to die" out loud. What effrontery!

A song about the complexities of love, a song about the pain of love lost.

First heard it around 50 years ago or there about... This song just really gets to me.

Here's a love without reservations

I almost always listen to them together. The first wounds, the second heals.

In this song Paul tells me something of the joy of performance art. To captivate and elevate one's audience
"It was late in the evening and I blew that room away!"

Both of these songs are new to me, oh the shame of missing something that shouldn't have been missed. It is truly amazing that songs from fifty or more years ago can seem like only yesterday. So Nico's real first name was Christa. My deceased girlfriend was named Crysta, I just ordered a brick with her name to be in front of the new market started up by Northwest Harvest featuring fresh local produce. Brought a tear to my eye it did.

Paul Simon, one of our very best. Referring to the biographic info revealed in my last post, I didn't say "I'm gonna get that girl if it's the last thing I ever do," I said "it would be fantastic to know that girl much better than I do." And it was a dream that came true slowly, slowly. I miss her.

I'm sorry for your loss I feel you've found a wonderful way to keep her in remembrance.
Northwest Harvest fed Patti and I more than a few times. Where are you gonna find better people than those who have fed the poor?
