Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

The Who Baba O'Riley

Listened to this with my freshly unpacked brand new sound system I bought while in a South East Asian innocent country we just couldn't leave alone. Sounded great!

'Who's Next'. God, what a record. It was my introduction to The Who. I must have been 13 or 14 years old when it came out and I still remember all the lyrics. Played it till the grooves wore out, and then [I am ashamed to say] surreptitiously swapped it out for a friend's copy [he didn't really like The Who, anyway]. I had no money to buy a new one. I confessed to this sin when I was about 21. My friend said he figured I'd done exactly that, but he knew the joy I got from that album so he said nothing.

Pretty good friend.

Love Ain't for Keeping, Behind Blue Eyes, Won't Get Fooled Again, My Wife, Goin' Mobile: it feels like yesterday. I'm going to have to play it now...

"I'm waiting for a miracle. Waiting for a change in the hearts of men."

Love Cyndie. I have this show on a DVD, it's the one that has the best version of "Shine" I've ever heard. "Waiting for a change in the hearts of men." Definitely starts at home and I'm letting it happen.

I think that "The Kids Are All Right" and "My Generation" started me on the road to The Who appreciation, if'n I remember rightly.

I've had a life long romance with flying boats, always wondered how we let them slip away.

Ps " Tales of the Golden monkey "
Pretty much stared a flying boat.":O}

My guess is that you will have to be signing union contracts for some time into the future.

Have you planned a careful approach to demolition in the time of covid?
Your going to have to acquire storage space for one heck of a lot of no longer tourist attracting blocks.

I have no idea as to where one might get the 60000 slaves you will need.

But TRumphp has some interesting ideas along those lines..

Oh! Oh! mail me one of those blocks when you can

Patti's father gave her an real Roman Brick some two thousand years old.
This will put me firmly in the drivers seat!! ":O}
P.S.
No need to ship overnight. 3 day mail will be fine.
