I guess it still just really pisses me off to see it done. That Henderx did it does not lessen my pain.

One song I can embrace without reservation and isn't that what rock n roll is suppose to do?
 
For over 50 years I avoided him. Never really cared for him. But in my old age I have come to appreciate him
Still think a lot of his stuff is borrowed or just plain sucks.
But old age is the time for forgiveness and burying the hatchet. I must confess I cannot conceive of anyone ever singing this p[articular song better.


The speaking part is a bit hokey to my ears, but the singing...I can't ask for no more.":O}

I can't really explain the enormous affliction I have for this song.The lyrics aren't great, but I love them!
