My mom absolutely swooned for Andy Williams. The hell with the Brothers. If Andy was on, he was her main focus
I assumed that someone came up with a "Grunge" pedal. Seemed logical. Don't know if there really was one--or more than one.
I don't think this song charted very well in America--if at all. As an American, I thought this tune was ridiculous. Passed it by forty three years ago. It debuted at Number 1 in Britain--the first #1 hit penned by a woman. It was number one in quite a few European countries as well. I like it a LOT now. It grabs me firmly in a hard to describe way. Glad you got a smile from it!
Teo Gertler, eh? This kid is freakin' amazing! At least one of his parents has to be a musician---and a very fine one too.
Very nice short cruise through Taylor Hawkins's career. Hate to admit it but he's another artist I'm ignorant of. Must there be so many? Very nice find, thank you TR!
What a monster of talent! I liked Django muchly the first time I heard him. Thank you for finding this video Daniel!

What I've been noticing of late is these wonder kin Don't just pick up the instrument, but also acquire the classical "Posture". The face expressions and the way they hold their little bodies. it's like they were poured into the mold of music.
